Business Controller Western Europe H/F - CDI
As a Business Controller you’ll work at the intersection of finance and operations, translating numbers into insights, supporting pricing and cost control initiatives.

We are looking for a Business Controller to support the Customer Service business across our West Europe Cluster (BeLux, France, Netherlands).
In this role, you will partner closely with the Cluster Service Director and management team, driving financial performance, improving transparency, and supporting operational decision-making across multiple markets.
You’ll work at the intersection of finance and operations, translating numbers into insights, supporting pricing and cost control initiatives, preparing budgets and forecasts, and ensuring accurate Service P&L steering.
This is a high-visibility role within an international setup, reporting to the Regional Service Controlling Manager (based in the Nordics).
Location: Netherlands (Vianen), Belgium (Mollem) or France (Le Blanc-Mesnil).
Your key responsibilities
Financial Planning & Performance Management
Lead budgeting and forecasting, including maintenance of Customer Service specific planning tools
Partner closely with Cluster Service management team to contribute to improved profitability and strategic alignment by translating financial insights into operational recommendations and decision-making support.
Prepare and review monthly financial and operational reports, variance analyses, and performance dashboards to proactively identify risks, opportunities, and cost‑saving initiatives.
Conduct operational performance analysis to identify trends, deviations, and improvement opportunities.
Communicate financial and operational performance and key drivers clearly to stakeholders across the organization.
Process Optimisation & Cross-Cluster Collaboration
Contribute to process optimization and harmonization of financial processes across the cluster.
Coordinate effectively with central and local stakeholders to ensure aligned financial standards, reporting accuracy, and consistent ways of working.

About you
You are currently in a Business Controller role in a multi-country set up with the desire to progress your career with Miele. This role will offer you excellent breadth in your career development in a broad set up of markets and in the field of finance.
What you bring
Expertise & Education
University degree in business administration with Major in finance (or comparable)
Experienced with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
Business & Analytical skills
You excel at transforming financial data into actionable insights, combining analytical capabilities with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong business acumen and commercial mindset
Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively to both financial and non-financial stakeholders
International Experience
3-6 years’ experience, ideally working in a multi‑national and multi‑lingual environment, preferably within the Benelux and France
Comfortable operating within a matrix organisation with diverse stakeholders
Willingness to travel on regular basis (average 1-2 days, every other month)
Communication
Excellent command of English (written and spoken); fluency in Dutch is a strong asset
Professional, meticulous and collaborative communication style
